Randolph Girls Volleyball had a historic run like no other, finishing with a 23-2 record this 2025-2026 fall season.
“They came to practice determined to get better and prepare for our next opponent,” head coach Sherri Data said. “They came to every game determined to fight for the win.”
The girls’ determination and talent quickly paid off with weekly wins. “We had a lot of ups and downs, but we didn’t just give up,” senior co-captain Jazmine Holder said. “We clicked as a unit and were able to put one mind on the court.”
After a 12-game winning streak, the Rams lost their first game of the season against Mendham 2-1 on Oct. 9.
They overcame the loss with a historic win in the Morris County Tournament, sweeping Morris Hills 3-0 in the final. Key players in the championship-winning game included sophomore Reese Nelson with 19 kills and junior Klara Hindson with 23 assists.
“My most memorable moment was the county championship because it was the first ever for the program and a battle to get there,” Data said.
The team continued to thrive, winning each game with an unmatched combination of effort, talent and player chemistry.
This winning formula ultimately earned Randolph the NJAC Conference championship title, beating Pope John 2-0 on Oct. 23. Notable plays included kills from junior Aleksandra Jankowska and digs from sophomore Madison Ryan.
Next, the girls made it to the NJSIAA finals, but suffered a tough season-ending loss against Ramapo 3-0 on Nov. 11.
The Rams were disappointed by the loss but proud of how much they accomplished during the season. “Through all my four years, that banner has always been blank, and we were the first to add not one but two titles,” Holder said.
