The Boys Ice Hockey playoffs are here, and the Rams are ready to roll as they seek the program’s 10th state title. The team will face off against Roxbury tonight in the first round of the state playoffs, and Randolph hopes to continue the journey to the Prudential Center. The last time the Rams won a state title was in 2020, right before the Covid lockdown.

This year, the Rams have enjoyed a solid regular season, with a record of 12-2-4. Last year, however, the Rams had a season that was far from normal for Randolph hockey as they went 10-7-3, a less than solid record that the program had not seen in a while. They exited in the quarterfinals as they lost to Northern Highlands, that season’s state champion and current number one seed, by a score of 5-1.

The Rams are ready to take back the title. They are hungry to make noise and perform in this year’s bracket, as they enter the playoffs as the number three seed. With the program’s rich history, the team faces a lot of pressure, as they look to live up to the expectations.

The team has been working hard all season long to prove that they belong at the top and have earned one of the top seeds in this year’s bracket.

Rampage wishes the team good luck on the ice tonight and going forward.
