The RHS Marching Band honored 23 seniors during this year’s annual Senior Night at the football team’s first home game on Friday, Sept. 12, held on the newly installed Bauer Field turf.
Before kickoff, the band recognized its senior members: Felipe Arruda, Hanna Augustine, Jason Bachenheimer, Emma Brunton, Cassidy Chaudhari, Angus Costello, Tyler Davis, Jane Doran, Katelyn Ford, Nick Garcia, Felipe Gonzalez Gomez, Armen Hallajian, Elijah Jacob, Sasha Jampol, Katelyn Perren, Mikey Szoke, Richard Torrente, Sophie Visser, Megan Yoga, and Emma Villalobos, Andrew Walker and Damian Wyka.
“The band has a big and talented senior class this year,” Band Director Nicholas Fantazzi said.
At halftime, the band performed its 2025 show, “Watched,” featuring a medley of music from TV shows, films and videos including “Severance,” “Psycho,” “Scene D’Amour” from “Vertigo” and “Somebody’s Watching Me.”
“We had a nice performance at halftime to conclude the band’s portion of the game,” Doran said. “It was great to have our first public show.”
The performance highlighted the band’s hard work and strong sense of teamwork.
“They are doing a great job of leading the younger members,” Fantazzi said. “We are very proud of how hard everyone has worked to put our show together.”
“Senior Night was a really nice way to celebrate our commitment and accomplishments over the years,” Doran said. “It was special to bring our class together and honor everyone who’s played a major role in the band.”
The RHS Marching Band will perform next on Friday, Sept. 26, at the Randolph vs. West Morris Central football game, scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. on Bauer Field.
