Junior Giuliana Pozzi recently committed to Coastal Carolina to play D1 lacrosse.  After undergoing the time-intensive recruiting process, Pozzi said she was happy with her decision.

“The Coastal players felt like big sisters, and the coaches truly cared for me and respected me during the recruitment process,” Pozzi said. “What was really special about the school was its amazing blue turf, which the Lacrosse team gets to practice on, along with the beautiful campus just 15 minutes from the beach.”

Pozzi is a dominant force on the field who produced a stellar performance last season for the Rams, which she hopes to repeat this spring. Last season, Pozzi made 29 goals and 17 assists.

“Giuliana is a huge asset to both our offensive and defensive end,” Head Coach Jillian Picciuto noted. “She is a strong leader helping to communicate our defense. She is also a leader in running and facilitating ball movement on the offense.”

“She is a strong asset to the team and a great player,” teammate Natalia Donato said.
